Spotted Lanternfly Information

Grand Rapids Transport is doing our part to prevent the spread of the Spotted Lanternfly. The Safety Department worked with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture for proper education.

Our permits are issued and active for any drivers traveling in the affected areas. For more information on this non-native invasive species, check out the video below.



Spotted Lanternfly is the Worst Invasive Species in U.S. in 150 Years

The Spotted Lanternfly is considered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to be the worst invasive species in the last 150 years. That's because they threaten products from wine to apples, lumber and craft beer.
